Summer Enrichment

You may be concerned about the impact of the last three semesters of remote schooling. It's perfectly reasonable to wonder, "What did my student miss?" or "Will my student be ready for September?" I am offering theme-based summer enrichment activities and working sessions for students to be able to maintain their skills and learn some of the things their teachers were not able to teach given the constraints of the past year.
For example, your student might have finished their year of remote Algebra II and will be taking Precalculus in the fall. It's very likely they didn't learn all the things they would have in a normal year or that the practice they completed was constrained. A summer enrichment program will look back at the year they finished to fill some of the gaps and look forward to what's coming up next to help students with the important concepts and skills necessary for success in the fall.
This would work well for individual students, but would be even more powerful for small groups of three or four so they can work together in similar ways as in our classrooms. If your student has a few classmates who all took the same class, please feel free to refer their parents to this site to see if they are interested and use the Contact box on the Home Page to start a conversation.
