About Me

Hello, my name is Brian. I've been working in New York City public high schools for fifteen years after joining Teach For America in 2006. Prior to that, I was an auditor for Ernst & Young, LLP. I graduated from Santa Clara University in the San Francisco Bay Area in 2003 with a degree in accounting and moved to New York soon after. I've taught Algebra, Geometry, Algebra 2, Trigonometry, Precalculus and an Economics and Finance math elective for 12th graders in various schools in the Bronx, Manhattan and Brooklyn. I love the way math is a language everyone can speak and I've enjoyed working with young people to help them succeed both inside and outside the classroom.
